The concept...
4 players
4 female human warlocks
Different Patron each
1 LG, 1 LE, 1 CG, 1 CE
Spells work as usual, except they do NOT deal damage.
(You can always take them if you want...
EB + invocations for forced movement shenanigans,
fireball to set unattended objects on fire,
mind sliver to decrease a save,
etc...
We just ignore the damage part.)
All of them Know Find Familiar & can only cast it as a ritual.

They ARE witches, no doubt about it.
Can they put away their differences (patron, alignment & practices) & work together for their mutual survival???
They have until the dawn of the day after tomorrow, where the Holy Inquisition representatives arrive in town.

Players will have to work together to build their bios.
Do they know each other? Maybe some are enemies? or friends?

I have no story written. Only key points, a few encounter ideas and 3 books filled with random tables.
Sandbox really. You write the story.

Let's make it more fun...
LE & LG witches are about the same age and friends out of necessity.
They know and follow the old teachings and rules of their covens to blend in and do their work from the shadows.
CE & CG witches are of the same age and uninterest in each other. They are the daughters of LE & LG witches respectively.
In their youthfulness, they are eager to be accepted for what they are and escape their cloistered lives.
But alas... the young ones are not always do what 're told.
Through inexperience but most of all blatant disobedience, they got captured in the act & managed to bring their captors'
attention to their mothers also...
