We now have character sheets for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons.
WandaVision was an acquired taste that built itself up into something awesome by the end.
Falcon and The Winter Soldier was a pretty good Captain America movie without too many guest stars.
But Loki? After just one episode...Loki is friggin' perfect. It's like they took the best of The Umbrella Academy and slapped a lovely Marvel sheen to it. So damned good.
I just watched the first half of the first episode of Loki, and it was really good so far! WandaVision was also great, but I haven't gotten much into most of the othet MCU shows, other than season 1 of Jessica Jones.
Now I need to find a new show to watch with the whole family. Any suggestions? Needs to appeal to preteens, teens and adults. Male and females. Some humor would be nice. So far we've watched Community, Schitt's Creek, Umbrella Academy, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, WandaVision. Can't be "scarry."
Thanks! I'd already considered Parks and Rec. I think we'd need to get Hulu. Lost would be interesting... but do I really want to expose my kids to a show with such a disappointing ending?
The Netflix Marvel shows are great but it's bitter-sweet because they are over and they will never be pulled into the larger universe. Falcon and the Winter Soldier is definitely worth watching, though.
Now, for some other recommendations.
Modern Family
Bob's Burgers
The Big Show Show (very cheesy)
Lego Masters
Nailed It
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Impractical Jokers
Better Off Ted
Raising Hope
Season 5 of The Last Kingdom on Netflix continues to be excellent. If you don't know the story of Uhtred and his adventures back in 9th century England from Bernard Cornwell's book series, it's well worth the watch.
