Looks like a bot or something making these Campaigns.

Perhaps, but I think it's often that someone is legitimately fleshing out a campaign, has an idea and plans to recruit, but then it falls apart for one reason or another. So often, someone gets excited about the idea of a PbP campaign to run but then decides (for various reasons) not to follow through with it.

Yes, we're seeing that happen a lot now that we are allowing users to create their own game forums versus the old way where they had to request one from a staff member.

All of those were simply user created.
I have cleaned up the empty ones. Weren't so many...
