      Choking in the Dark

This was a spur of the moment weapon I thought up while playing in the backyard with my baby.... it comes from those handy outdoor solar lights....

This weapon is specially crafted beneath an assasins guild, only assassins of the highest degree are privileged enough to recieve the extensive training in technique that allows the use of this awkward looking weapon.
The 2 inch tip of this (for lack of a better term) dagger has 2 intersecting blades that make a + shape, they come to a point at the tip and are about 1 inch at the base, one of these blades has several slight ridges- which makes it excruciating to pull it out. The very interesting thing, it that this tip detatches from the handle once it has been planted in ones target, and a strong braided metal wire covered in Black Lotus Extract keeps the tip and the handle together as one unit. This wire can then be wrapped around the targets throat and pulled tight to choke- this action also brings the poison into play. The the only way to effectively use this weapon is with the special technique training, which makes the odd stabbing and then strangling motion as simple as any other attack. An assassin MUST strike with a sneak attack for this weapon to even come into the picture, because you cant stab someone in the chest and strangle them if they see you . Generally this weapon is deployed from behind an opponent, but it could be used from the side. it is IMPOSSIBLE to use this weapon from the front of an opponent.

      FEATURES

Tip deals 1d6+DEX modifier damage/round ONLY when embedded in opponent
Black Lotus Extract DC 20 3d6con damage initially, 3d6con damage secondarily
+15 Move Silently, Listen, Hide, Spot and Tumble (weapon does not have to be drawn)
+12 Spell Resistance (weapon does not have to be drawn)
Poison Immunity (weapon does not have to be drawn)

      DRAWBACKS

CANNOT be used unless you land a sneak attack.
      REQUIRES SPECIAL exotic weapon proficiency
REGARDLESS OF THE ABOVE the assassin must undergo relentless technique training required to use this weapon depending on assassin level 5thlvl = 1year, 10thlvl = 9months, 15thlvl = 6months, 20thlvl = 3months
ONLY 5TH LEVEL ASSASSINS AND ABOVE MAY BEGIN TRAINING TO USE THIS WEAPON WITHOUT RISK OF DEATH
1st lvl assassin trying to train with this weapon has 40% chance to die during training, 2nd lvl 30%, 3rd lvl 20%, 4th lvl 10%
once the tip hits flesh the wire must be carefully recoiled into the handle, making it only usable in the first round of combat.

cost to make 45,000gp ( also the price, keep in mind that few of these are made and they only go so far as the assassins guilds most Prestiege members)

        Spider Fang Dagger

A mundane but well crafted weapon favored by both drows and professional assassins alike for its ability to make sure their mark dies. At first glace, it looks like a masterwork stiletto, but upon closer inspection one can see that the pummel unscrews, the blade has a small cavity inside, and any pressure on down on the tip causes holes to open near it. This expertly crafted blade allows a person to apply poison to the weapon as a full round action with no risk of poisoning him/herself.

For all other game purposes, Spider Fang Dagger is treated as a regular dagger, expect that the difficulty in making it requires that it always be a masterwork weapon.

        Tonfa

        Light Exotic Weapon
        Cost: 4gp
        Weight: 2lb.
        Damage: 1d6 (Medium) 1d4 (Small) x2
        Damage Type: Bludgeoning

When fighting defensively, using total defense, or take a -2 penalty with Combat Expertise, you gain a +1 shield bonus to AC. Unlike other shield bonuses, this one stacks with the shield bonus applied from wielding another Tonfa.

The tonfa is a special monk weapon. This designation gives a monk wielding a tonfa special options.

          The Hand-and-a-Half Axe

This item was pulled from my everyday collection of wood axes sitting between my long handled ( or 2 handed) wood axe and my ( single handed ) hatchet i have had an axe that seems to be exactly between the two in size, i couldn't figure out what to call it, so taking the Hand-and-a-Half from the alternate name for a Bastard sword i have come up with this Hand-and-a-Half axe. It may seem to some of you that it is just a battle axe with a different name, but it is not - as a battle axe typically has 2 crescent shaped blades and possibly a short spike where the handle would otherwise protrude above them. The Hand-and-a-Half axe is much more similar to a hand axe ( or hatchet) with an extra 12-18 inches added to the handle, but with the same type of axe head, usually designated for chopping wood, I have personally tested this out as a one handed weapon and the control is there to use it one handed, holding it at the base of the handle for extra reach it can be used as an effective trip weapon provided it is paired with a large shield ( Large steel or wood or Tower shield ) although a barbarian may use it without a shield, to take advantage of the extra length on the handle to wield it with both hands, this would render the tripping effect VERY dangerous - as it would expose your head to the enemy while reaching in to trip.

          Stats
          1d10 slashing damage ( medium sized )
range of 5 feet ( only when wielded single handed )
          Critical = 19-20/x2
In Addition, because of its wood axe type head the Hand-and-a-Half Axe can be reversed and used as a hammer, dealing 1d8 Bludgeon damage (medium sized )
Add strength modifiers as appropriate for single and double handed use

          Weapon Features
The Hand-and-a-Half Axe can be made with a well crafted ( masterwork ONLY) wooden handle but the majority of these weapons have upgraded to iron or steel handles for better use on the battle field.
it has a hardness of 15 for steel or iron handles and 7 for masterwork wooden handles. It has 20 HP.

          SINGLE HANDED USE
When attempting to trip an opponent (while using a large or tower shield) +2 circumstance bonus to your trip attempt
In addition to this trip effect, you can choose to hold the Hand-and-a-Half Axe at the base of its head to punch or bludgeon an opponent while grappling.
The character MUST have Exotic Weapon Proficiency ( Hand-and-a-Half Axe ) to use the weapon single handed without incurring a -3 penalty; the character must have a strength score of 16 or higher aswell.
With the Appropriate Feats you could wield Twin Hand-and-a-Half Axes, but you would not be able to trip using the off-handed one.

          TWO HANDED USE
In contrast to the single handed specials that the Hand-and-a-Half axe has there are also benefits to using it with both hands, though they negate the single handed abilities.
When wielding the Hand-and-a-Half Axe two handed, you have a 50% ( roll d% or d100, above 50-100 is a success) chance to automatically sunder any weapon, armour or shield struck, as the Improved sunder feat, you do not incur and AOO, in addition you do not need to declare that you are attempting to sunder, as it is the weapons special ability to do so by itself.
Wielding the Hand-and-a-Half axe with both hands does not require any Exotic Proficiencies.

          COST
          includes the masterwork price
          for a basic Hand-and-a-Half Axe
          150gp for a wooden handled
          200gp for a steel/iron handled
