    New Names and New Faces

    Good morning, TTWers!

The other admins and I have noticed increased activity around the site over the last month or two and a lot of that has to do with some of the brand new players who have just joined us recently. To the new folks out there: please don't forget about this space! This is a spot for you to come introduce yourself, say hello, ask questions and just generally get yourself familiar with the site and its community, so don't forget to use it! I'd love to see some more of those newcomers pop on by here to say hi.

    Cheers and happy gaming, everyone!

And remember: new folks don't need to wait for a game to start up. Any site member can open a recruitment thread and advertise a game regardless of your time as a member here or your level of experience GMing!

This hobby always, always needs more GMs to run games. If you're looking to get in the action here but aren't sure how to begin, running your own game can be a great way to learn the ins and outs of the site and to meet the members of the TTW community as well.

Don't be shy! It'd be great to see some new names and faces running some games around here.

    Cheers and happy gaming, all!

      Hello folks,
Some of you will know me from Twitter I’m one half of @TouchToneHeroes, I’m the Forever DM half ?. I’m ready to enter the action packed world of Play by Post and would love to run a game for you.

I have access to a couple of pretty standard systems. DnD5E, BitD and by extension (Scum and Villainy) and some rarer titles like an old Pirates of Dark Water Rpg, play test material for some Twitter friends (Feels System and Vivzieferno.

If I can run it and make it fun, I’m game to try. I play rule of cool, I’m on the players side, and I’m quick to improvise! If this sound like fun to you then hit me up!

Hey there folks, my names Al, I'm one of the many Al's that makeup Trinity Knot Studio, we're also Twitter followers, you can find us there by checking out @TrinityKStudio

We're all about creating tools that help make a GMs life a bit easier, a selection of sandbox adventuring landscapes and we're just embarking on our first standalone game that we will be taking to Kickstarter this time next year.

          - really happy to have found this forum.

Greetings all, my name is Michael and currently play in the Red Dirt DnD Podcast. I caught this site on Table Top Journeys and thought I would look into joining a Play-by-Post game.

Welcome, welcome sir! I'm Mike too...and it was me you heard on Table Top Journeys! Pleasure to meet you

Right now, it looks like there are indeed some open recruitments for new games forming, so you could pop over to any of those threads to express interest in joining...or, if you don't see anything to your fancy, you can always start up your own game ad/recruitment. The more, the merrier in PbP!

Cheers and happy gaming here at TTW, Oberon!

Welcome oberon2769 . PBP games are quite different than live games, but can be really fun!
Is there anything you'd like to share about your podcasts. I'm a big fan of Actual Play podcasts -- listened to over 200 different ones over the years. And I know that others here also listen to APPs.

Hey everyone, just heard about this from the "How Not to DM" podcast - and this sounded like a really not and fun place to visit and hangout.

Neat! I have never played by post. So I will just wander around taking a look at stuff until I can see a good point to jump in.

Best spot to jump in is the Games Looking for Players area. Those open game ads are your best bet to find a game to jump into. Or, if you'd rather, you can post your own game ad and start recruiting now for a story you'd like to GM yourself! Either way works.

Greetings. Old-school roleplayer, GM and rpg creator, found my way here from Twitter (same sign-in name). Mostly I improvise genre-based games using a house-system developed over years of play-tests. Have done pbp before, even since before internet! Excited to discover Tangled Web.
