Is the Site Still Alive?

Good Morning guys,
It's been a couple of crazy years but I got the PBP itch and wanted to poke my head back in TTW to see if the community was still going or if we had lost the battle to the bots. Doesn't look too active anymore, but there were some wonderful people on here and I wanted to check before I investigate new sites. For those of you I never played with, I'm Keldree! I'm an experienced player but prefer to GM and always welcomed newbies to my tables both virtual and real life. My main systems are Pathfinder 1e and D&D 5e ( although I've given limited attention to the 2024 changes it doesn't look that different). I've dabbled in 3.5 and the tiniest bit in Warhammer 40k but I'm not up to running games in those systems. Tangled Web was my introduction to PBP and I loved it. I also played on discord but I dropped all games about 2 years ago when real life demanded maximum attention for a while.

So, are we still alive out here or have we all moved on to other sites?

It's sort of alive. Don't see much active recruitment anymore. I think I've seen maybe two games in the past six months. Most everyone has either already moved on or is just quietly playing the games they're already in.

Hey Faeryl! Yeah I might need to branch out to get some new games going but I wanted to check. I've got a fondness for this site.

Completely understandable. Like yourself, this site was my introduction to PbP; so until the games all dry up entirely (including the ones I'm in), I'm sticking around.
